When i uprade my Dns 323 to FV 1.05 it change language to Western European wish not support Northern European characters.
I tried to change language to Northern European with Easy search 4.2.0.0 which didn’t work.
If I open Easy search 4.2.0.0 and search for my Dns it says Northern European, but when connect to my Dns and look to my folders with Å Ä Ö characters it vill not work.
I open the web interface and tried to change language in the FTP setup, but it never been possible because it is down greyed.
How do I change to Northern European language?
I will be glad for any tip or ideas.

Have you formatted your drives since updating your firmware to 1.04 or 1.05?
-
No, i have only change firmwire, is it necessary to do that?
I think its strange that its not possible to get access the FTP language choice in the Webb interface.

FW 1.04 ¤ Upgrade Samba from 2.x to 3x for Vista and Unicode Support.
This requires you to format the drives using this or 1.05 firmware to add this support to the drives. I think this may resolve your issue.

Sorry i don't get it.
Is it necessary to "install" FW 1.04 before FW 1.05 so you get Samba 2.x to 3x or?
Whats the Samba for Vista Unicode support? Is it some special i should do to get it ?
I only have Xp on all my computers.
Or do you mean that i only should format my drivers ( in FW 1.05 ) and then it should work?

Firmware 1.05 has all the updates since the shipping firmware, formatting the drives if you have 1.05 on the unit will do the trick. This was an update released in 1.04

Hurray, it works.
Thanks for the help.
The medicine was following :
1. Install FW 1.05
2. Change Language with Easy Search 4.2.0.0 to Northern European.
3. Format the hard disk
4. Change Language in the Webb interface below FTP server to Northern European.
5. Done, start to put all data back from the back up.
Many thanks to you for the help to solve my problems, and a kick in the as for the Support team in Scandinavia for theirs proud, just stop reply my mail when they don’t have any more answer or ideas to dissolve the problem.
