Title: How to improve my connection from router to ps3?
Post by: wgu01 on January 30, 2011, 12:09:58 PM
The people i play with always tell me that Im lagging during Call Of Duty Black Ops. I feel like I just never get the first shot off.

Is there anyway that I can improve the connection to my ps3? Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks In Advance!

A wired connection should most likely be the best option with online gaming

Have you tried pinging the ps3 ip address to see what the response time is?  Lagging is typically a response of slow ping.  Also check your connection signal and run an interenet connection test under the ps3's network settings.  It will tell you your ul/dl speeds on the ps3.
