Title: My DIR-625 slower net speed than direct to modem. HELP!
Post by: thedragonb on January 30, 2011, 05:20:53 PM
Using this with my Macintosh.

Experiencing 18Mbps speedtests- direct to modem, but when connected to my DIR-625 it slows down to 6-10 Mbps?!! What gives? Do I need to trash this router and upgrade?!!! Any help or advice appreciated.

Thanks,
B

It has been posted, before, that setting the WAN port speed to a "speed" other than "AUTO" can help with speeding up the Internet access speed when using a router.
