Title: Share Point used with MFP

Buy using share point and connecting an HP 2840 printer to it (think mulitfuction fax/scan copy/ print office sized), will I lose any functionality?  Currently I have it set up as a network printer throught this router but I would love to have the ethernet port freed up.  I have to use hp software to use the scan features.  Would this all work nicely with the share port software?

Has anyone tried anything like this yet?

Just try it out...and revert back to the old config if it does not work. That's the fastest way and just as safe.
