I have a problem wherein the PSTN gateway won't release the line if the calling party hangs up while the Automated Attendant is speaking.
This essentially ties up the line even tho there is no one on the line: outgoing calls cannot be made via that line either.
Is there a fix for this,
or is there a setting where you can specify the timeout?
THANKS>

I have had the same issue and was not able to get support with it. In my situation, even after Auto Attendand, unless someone hangs up that call, it was not getting released. That was flooding my voicemail box, since I had calls go to voicemail if not answered.

zer0fx, your post talks in the past-tense, does this mean you found a work-around or it was resolved somehow? Thanks

No, I was not able to get the issue resolved and had to replace the phone system. I acutally have the 10 d-link phones, 2 pstns, and the Response Point unit all boxed up and ready for sale.

If anyone is experiencing the above issue, please visit D-Link support site(http://www.support.dlink.com/products/view.asp?productid=DVG%2D3104MS) and downoload Firmware version 01.02.03 for the DVG-3104MS. The firmware upgrade addressed that issue.

We have made all of the current sp2 upgrades and we are still having this problem. Someone will call in and hang up during the greeting and the call still goes to the operator and sometimes to her voicemail. Are there any other suggestions to fix this?

Anyone with updates to this, has to be the one major gripe I have with the RP system?
