Title: Dir-655 slow pings in game play

I just installed a new DIR-655 and I play COD4 online and have seen my ping go from 75 to 120.  I have taken the router out of the system and my ping goes back down.  Any ideas...

You're going behind a firewall now. You're going to need to open ports.

Assign a static IP to your console, and forward the ports that COD4 needs to use.

Ports are not going to effect pings. Look at the routers firewall settings, is SPI enabled? If so disable it. Also are you hardwired to the router or wireless?

Any other wireless devices 'choking' the connection??
