According to the admin program a MP3 file gets loaded at setup for playing park music. Can I replace this file with another one? If so, where is the file located?
The desk phone has the capability of playing a MP3 file for on-hold callers but is limited to 100K. Where do you find a 100K mp3 file? Are there samples somewhere?
Thanks

I do not think that this is possible. In the administrator you can use the default or plug a media device (ie MP3 Player, Radio or CD Player) into the base unit.

The one thing to not here is that this is the music that will be played on your handset when someone else places you on hold. Not what they will hear when you place them on hold.
As far as creating a 100k mp3 file, you can take any audio file into an audio editor (ie GoldWave) and convert it down to where it fits. Also, there are audio loop tools that you can find on the Internet in which you pick your style of music and specify the length and it can generate the MP3 for you. Just make sure you use MONO and the lowest bit rate that you can tolerate quality wise. We have a 1 minute audio file that sounds fine. It just loops when finished.
Good luck!

Where in the admin can you access the MP3 that is use for the Hold button? And how do I change it?
Thanks,

It is not in the admin. It is in the web tool for the phone.
To get to it, go to the ip address of the phone on port 9999.
For example: http://192.168.2.125:9999 then click on the Phone tab and select MP3 HOLD SETTINGS from the left hand menu.
