Title: FTP SSL & DST
Post by: dirtbiker on October 31, 2008, 02:42:03 PM
Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to set up SSL for FTP and daylight saving time please?
With daylight savings set, the time seems to be 1 hour out.

Thanks!

FTP SSL currently is not supported until the next firmware release 1.06. As for daylight savings please amke sure you have the box checked, USA selected, and the proper time zone. Are you using the NTP server? which one?

I hear the firmware should be released in the next week or two. We do not yet have a official release date.

Hi ECF,

There's definitely a time issue occurring on both the 323 & 343.  I have restarted all of my DNS devices and unless I manually "Set Time", they remain off by an hour.

I certain it's not the time source (time.chu.nrc.ca) or the zone (-0500) as my other network devices including my Active Directory controller are configured correctly and are returning the correct time.

As per my previous post, it would also be handy to have the ability to specify the Start & End of DST - just like we can in the DGL-4100.

Cheers,

Yes we are aware of this time sync issue and it will be resolved in the next firmware release for both units.
