This still doesn't change the fact that there currently isn't anything newer than v1.13 on both the download site and the ftp site.

Notice the Hardware Revision

Yours appears to be Revision A2 while everyone else here (including me) who is having problems is running Revision A1

Recently DiLink released a Revision A2 of the DIR 855

From the DIR-855 forum, there is a major post which indicates that the problems caused with that model were with Revision A1 models which were incorrectly assembled. The DIR-855 and the DGL-4500 use the same circuitboard.

So I'm now wondering if the messed up Revision A1, DGL-4500 units were assembled in the same plant as the DIR-855 units and if so, if the problems are related.

Where did you buy the DGL-4500 from?

Yes, I'd like to know where the purchase was made, before I see if i can make an exchange from where i bought mine.

Not enough problems resolved to warrant an exchange.  Only difference as I mentioned in the other thread might be the shipping FW, and that's what it is.

Just wait it out.

The main thing in this thread appears to be the Hardware Revision

Not the FirmWare.

We all know that changes in the hardware can make for a big difference in behavior.

Still, I would like to know where? As in which country.
