I have the DGL-4500 w/Firmware 1.13 wired to my desktop with two 1G network ports bridged and my laptop is connected wireless. Every time that I go to log in on my desktop my laptop's connection to the router gets dropped. Has anyone else had this problem? FYI, my ISP is roadrunner via Time Warner Cable.

What do you mean you have two 1g ports bridged?

I'm going to assume he has a motherboard which has 2 onboard Gigabit NIC's, which offer a software based "teaming" solution, where you can bridge a connection. Therefore, if one connection goes down, it can use the backup with no interruption. It can increase throughput by a bit, and "prioritize" packets as well (Nvidia only).
So, to the OP...Nvidia board or something else? IE. DFI?
I was going to reply to this earlier, but had passed out.
I would think that it's putting a strain on the router, therefore causing the wireless to restart.
What drivers are you using for the "teaming"? What do your logs say?
You say you are connected via wireless for the laptop:
-What OS are you using?
-What adapter are you using?
-What drivers are you using?

You can not trunk with the 4500.

It's a weird concept. It's like really bad software, and why no one should ever use it.
But, they say that you just plug in two ethernet cables, and bridge it, and there ya go...
Is it absolutely not possible for this to happen?

yes I am using the 680i nVidia mother board which has two 1g network ports. The network driver is v67.93 What log? Now the laptop is running on XP with the lattes service pack to come out. I am not using and adapter just the internal wireless device that is built in. And the drivers for that idk.
