Title: Blackberry Bold + WiFi streaming not working
Post by: Spazmogen on November 09, 2008, 06:52:00 PM
My Bold is set up with the latest Rogers firmware (.162).

The Bold surfs fine on WiFi both at home and away in hotels etc.

When I turn the phone part off, and only leave on WiFi I am unable to stream video & audio(m.youtube.com or m.moodio.fm), but I can surf just fine.  This only occurs at home on my  DIR-625 rev c with 3.06 firmware.

Can anyone suggest some router configurations that will enable streaming?  or is it the new Blackberry Bold?

Currently enabled on the DIR-625
Multi-cast streams
Bold is set up in the DMZ (192.168.0.199)
Bold has 192.168.0.199 reserved for it under DHCP.  And it connects every time as 192.168.0.199

NAT Endpoint filtering. Both are set up for Address Restricted.

MAC filtering is turned off.
website filtering is off.
inbound filters are not enabled.
Access control is not turned on.
application rules are not used.
