Title: Adding "internet capable" devices.
Post by: Nds15 on November 18, 2008, 02:21:55 PM
I've got a Dir-655 router and used to be able to have multiple devices connected to the network, and each of those devices used to be able to use the internet. I had to perform a hard reset on the router and lost my configuration.

My Wii and my second computer are connected to the router but they will not connect to the internet through the router. This computer will but its the only one. Does anyone have any idea how i could fix the problem?  :-\

If you need anymore details or clarification feel free to ask :)

Thanks in advanced!  ;)

If there is a gateway (IP of the router) missing in the Wii network menu (don't have one) it will not connect to Internet...

Check your SSID and/or security settings as reset would have put them back to default.

Use wireless channel 1 or 11 for optimal connection with the wii. That's what nintendo recommends: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/onlineWirelessSlow.jsp
