Title: DNS-321 and VPN Linksys WRVS4400N
Post by: stevek on February 01, 2011, 04:19:52 PM
Im trying to access my DNS-321 that is behind my Linksys WRVS4400N router. I can VPN in from home and get access to my router and the DNS-321 webpage but I can't map any drives. I can ping the ip of the NAS box once I VPN but not the name. I know this probably has something to do with wins and name resolution but there must be another way to do this or i missed a step somewhere. I did try to map a drive to IP with folder paths or just folder paths and its a no go. Any help would be great.

Thanks

This would seem to be a VPM problem not a DNS-321 item.
But, what do You get if in "Windows Explorer" You type in "\\DNS-321_IPAddress\"
and hit go?  In My setup I get the DNS-321 shares.

Hope it Helps.
