Title: How many computers can access one DIR-655?
Post by: jranderson on November 21, 2008, 04:18:58 PM
I'm interested in the DIR-655. I tried the online business configurer and it says that the DIR-655 can handle 12 computers. Is this true?

Well any router "Technically" can have as many computers on it as you want connected (Assuming you have IP Addresses to hand out to them. BUT the stability of the network will be completely unusable.

It is recommended that you only connect up to 10 computers at any one time for stability reasons.

Thank you...The plan is to have two DSL lines. One feeding one DIR-655 and the other line feeding the second DIR-655. Hence, 6 computers for one router and 6 computers for the second router.
