Title: Connecting to DNS 323
Post by: sjdigital on November 25, 2008, 11:57:29 AM
Will the DSM 330 display jpg images from my DNS 323 on my TV without having a PC powered on?

Unfortunately it will not. The DSM-330 is not compatible with the UPnP A/V server found on the DNS-323.
The DSM-330 has particular features only for the DivX Connected™ HD Media Players that are not supported by the other family of D-Link Media players.

OK, thanks for this. Is there any device that D Link do that will display jpg images from a DNS 323 onto a TV?

Yes. The DSM-320, 510, 520, or the 750. The DSM-330 is our only Media player device that does not support UPnP AV media servers it is a bit different then the other devices.
