Title: ITunes
Post by: Shepdog on November 29, 2008, 04:39:16 PM
Is there any reason not to put your ITunes folder on the dns 323?  It seems like the server just detects the itunes folder you have on your computer.  I'd like to store all my music etc on the dns 323.  Does anyone know if that would be a problem?  If I have itunes on multiple machines and set all the folders to the same dns 323 folder would that be a problem?

Thanks for any insight

I have not run into any problems doing it that way yet. Just put folder watch on the folder on all pc's and you don't even have to do anything other than drop the song/s into the folder and all p.c itunes library's are updated.
For me the iTunes server is not much good because iTunes software will not show ablumart on shared libraries. So that is the reason for me doing it this way.
