I have seen reports of this in the DSLReports D-Link users forum -- the prevailing suggestion was to ignore it (Don't Show Message Again). The device operates just fine.
I can't seem to locate the thread...

Like funchords said: Ignore it. A router never needs a driver to operate in Windows.

i know that but what :p
meybe its shareport or something
-
Nope. Nice try though ;)
The router does not 'advertise' or 'broadcast' the USB capability on the clients. Only when Shareport is installed on the client it will notice the connection. And when installed it will not ask for any more drivers.
Let's call it one of the strange side effects of Windows UAC.

*cough* that may change ;) *cough, cough*

Hmmmm, would be a cool feature and a nice USP for the 655. "Interesting thought it is' would Master Yoda say (too many reruns of Star Wars on TV lately ;))

I'm looking forward to see some new and interesting features being added for this router ;D
Lycan, I hope you can keep us informed about this subject :)
