Title: All data disappear after reset.

all of my data (400 GB) that was stored on the NAS , disappear after system reset,

there is any way to restore it?

Not using any conventional method ... you can try Paragon (http://www.paragon-software.com/) and see if the partition is still present on the HDD - you'll need to connect the HDD to a PC.

IMHO, it would appears that you either have a faulty DNS or the HDD had a catastrophic failure.  You may want to make a backup going forward in case something like this happens again.

tnx for your replay.

so, after connecting the HDD to the PC i can see the data but it pop-up a warning that there is some I\O error with the hardware.

Most hard drive manufactures have diagnostic tools to determine hard drive health.
This diagnostic software is usually available for down load at the hard drive manufacture's
web site.

Attempt to obtain as much data off the HDD as possible before performing any further tests.

You may want to do the following:

- Use a synchronization application (ex: Beyond Compare, etc.)
- Let the HDD sufficiently cool and perform small copy sessions with cool down period in-between. *
