Title: Extender will not connect to PC
Post by: rcigliano on January 01, 2009, 08:11:25 AM
My DLINK-750 has been working up until yesterday. Now whenever I turn it on I get an error message saying that it can't connect to the PC and to turn the extender off and then on again. It still does not connect.

I tried to set it up again but still no good. In the pC event logs, I see that it the extender was discovered, sets up the user account and exchanges the certificate. But it fails to connect to the extender. The PC definitely sees the extender because I can see it listed in my WMC on the PC, it says it is ready to use.

I upgraded the firmware but still no good.

Any ideas why it would all of a sudden fail to connect and what may be causing this?

Thanks
Rob

I installed some updates which included a cumulative one for Media Center KB955519 and one for TV Pack KB956147. Now my extender connects to the PC.
