I was wondering when a UK version of 1.06 was going to be made available ?
I have called the UK support number to ask about version 1.06 and the person on the call centre was no help at all.
Thanks
Charles

p.s. - One other thing I forgot to say was that the US site should have a notice on it that the 1.06 is only for US hardware - it is not clear that this is the case.

To deal with your first point - you're asking the question on a forum belonging to US support - I don't think they are in a position to answer a UK support related question.
To deal with your second point - do you need anything more clear than this.
This firmware is engineered for North American products only.
Using this firmware on a device outside of North America will void your warranty and may render the device unusable.
Please contact the D-Link office in your region for firmware updates that are compatible with your D-Link product.

Hello
I'm in the UK and using the US firmware? What doesn't work?

Well they should be - since the UK is not.

Well in short yes - given the poster following you comment clearley did not see that nor did I - it should be at the very least in the Release Notes.

It would be nice to know why you feel the US folks should know more about D-Link UK's business than D-Link UK themselves

1) I see nothing in boxst's post to suggest that he did not see the warning, he may simply have chosen to ignore it - and he would not be the first to do so.
2) The warning is on the download page headed by the word "Attention" in red - if you didn't "notice" it there, would you have seen it elsewhere?
What ever else you can blame on D-Link, in this instance, they did their part and cannot be held responsible for your failure to read.

You are correct it is on the download page - but at the bottom - under version 1.00 - for most visitors to the page it would not be visable unless they scrolled down to the very bottom - as for what would have made it more noticeable - putting it at at the top of the page for a start -or as I said in my previous post in the Release Notes.

I don't believe I am - however what is obvious is they could make it clearer - that is my point.
