Title: How to watch video?

How do you watch video on the 750 from your hard drive?

I should be able to play video files from the HD without using Media Center, but I have no idea how to do that!

The files are in a mp4 format. I am not using Media Center. But when I tried, MC just froze up when trying to find/add video files from the selected location on my HD.
What do I need to know here?
