Title: My Dell laptop did not see my DIR-655
Post by: serco on January 04, 2009, 01:57:10 PM
My Blackberry Pearl, my D-Link DPR-1260 Print server, my Asus 900 EeePC see my SSID.

My Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop running Vista Ultimate did not see it.

I change the setuop of my DIR-655 to "G" wireless  only.  Nothing.

What can I do.

Did you check that the wireless switch is On?

Can your Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop see other networks?

Did you try bringing this Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop to a wi-fi area?

Like I said in my original message. 3 other devices see the DIR-655, then my wireless is ON.

I keep my old WBR-2310 on duty and my Dell laptop see it flawlessly. And it see also 20 networks in my building.

Serco,

Try upgrading the firmware on your router... Also, please ensure your wireless adapters have the latest drivers as well.

The firmware 1.21 solve the problem.
