Title: Simplifying Folder Structure?
Post by: Lupismaximus on January 04, 2009, 10:05:22 PM
I noticed that when I pull up my content off of my DNS-323, I have to go through  ton of folders to find what I want to play.

I stream content to a PS3, Xbox360, and Popcorn Hour A-110.  On my DNS, I have put my Video, Pictures, and Music under a MEDIA directory.  When I search for content, I need to go through a tone of folders to get to what I want.

Does anyone have any suggestsions on how to cut down on the number of files I need to go through.  I can only put one folder to look for contact on the DNS GUI, and right now I use MEDIA opposed to ROOT.

I would setup your AV server share to be only the content you want to share rather than the root of the drive.
