I've noticed that 615_b may have an issue with RTSP streams. Is anyone out there able to get theirs to stream RTSP?
-
yep, see my post below. I had to disable mine in WMP

Go to the ALG section of the Firewall under the Advanced Tab. Uncheck the RSTP ALG, then try it again. Post results.

Lycan,
I was having issues streaming audio with the DIR-615_B. The router log would show the following error when I tried to stream audio with Windows Media Player:
RTSP ALG rejected packet from <ip address & port of streaming music> to <my wan ip address and port>
I was able to fix the issue by unchecking the RTSP ALG in Firewall settings in the D-Link router. The only other way to resolve the problem was to uncheck RTSP/TCP in Tools->Options->Network tab of Windows Media Player.
Thank you for looking into this issue.
Sincerely,
SurfingR

We're checking with PM to determine if the ALG is supposed to allow or block traffic.

ya! i can't watch any online streaming video and audio after i update the firmware to 2.25.
It was fine when i first install without updating it...
at first i thought it was my computer's problem, but it works fine when i use the laptop in school.

Is RTSP checked or unchecked?
Where is RTSP?

RTSP = Real Time Streaming Protocol
The setting is located in your router in the ADVANCED > FIREWALL SETTINGS
