Title: Is Firmware Version 18.208 good?
Post by: ShawnTRD on January 12, 2009, 05:45:49 AM
I see it on this forum but not on there website. So I just want to see if othere like it.

Newer Firmware Version 18.208 for your D-Link Systems DIR-655 router is now available at http://wrpd.dlink.com.tw/router/firmware/DIR-655/Ax/Default/DIR655A4_FW120B07.bin

I also read...

"The official 1.21 /1.20 firmware sucks ! I suffered with it for a month then looked around and saw people recommending 1.11 as the best one. Made the switch and voila ! Page loading/Torrents/http downloads have never been better and I can't possibly get anything better out of my comcast. This router with the 1.11 firmware will max out your connection."

That looks like an older beta if the 1.20 firmware.  Thats B as in beta and 07 is the sequence number of the beats.
