Hi All,
I am trying to RDP into my WIn7x64 pc from outside my network unsuccessfully. I can rdp inside from 1 pc to another, inside my LAN, including my own that I want to hit from outside. I have created a "Virtual Server " rule and also tried a "Port Forwarding" rule but neither seem to allow me to access it. I can also access my router to administer it from outside. I have not found any setup for this in the FAQs, except for an old one that does not seem to apply. Any help is appreciated.

if you are remoting from XP make sure you set on win 7 machine that it uses less secure method for remote.
also make sure you use correct port forward or set virtual server
it's 3389 unless you changed manually from registry.
if you have more than one computer and wants to remote in you can set different port and you can do it several computer at a time
also, if none of these work. just get a free team viewer account and register your computer, then you can remote in from anywhere in the world. to remote in you don't even need team viewer software.
you can just go to teamviewer website and login and do it. (Teamviewer software provide much better experience)
