Title: How good is the built in FTP Securty?
Post by: MJBURNS on February 07, 2011, 07:59:37 AM
I've run FTP servers before (WS_FTP & WarFTP). One of the things I always worry about is how robust the serve is against things like buffer overflows and other attack methods. Does anyone know just how robust the FTP server in the DNS-323 is?

It is as robust as Pure-FTPd (http://www.pureftpd.org/project/pure-ftpd) is  ;)

pureftpd is the default build in ftp server. If you don't like it and want to install another, your best bet is the wiki (http://wiki.dns323.info/).
