Title: dir-628 & dir-625
Post by: clawrence111 on February 08, 2011, 06:28:57 PM
I have both the dir-628 and the dir -625.  is there a way to configure these to work together on one wireless network.  One connected to the dsl modem serving as the main router and the other connecting to it to extend the range.

These units are not bridgeable. The only thing you can do is connect the LAN side of the 625 to the LAN side of the 628 and setup a 2nd WiFi SSID.

OK - Gotcha, thanks.  Is there another unit that I can acquire that will connect to my modem that these units can bridge to?

Look for access point wireless devices. They are made for bridging and relaying and help extend wireless using one wireless SSID.
