I see DLink is still selling this device, but it's been quite a while since we've seen any updates. Is DLink still supporting this box?

D-Link...could you please answer this question?

I know a lot of people in this forum would like to know if firmware updates will still be provided...or, has this NAS reached the end of its firmware support life?

Quite a while since the last update? I consider myself lucky if the manufacturers put out 1 a year. I buy a product based on how it performs now, not on what it may or may not do at some future date.

Yes we are still supporting this device (sorry I do not monitor these threads as often anymore).
