Hi
I have been struggling with this for about a week now and no success.
I have a DLINK DIR-615 wireless n router and recently bought the wireless n network adapter for the xbox 360.
When I put my router to mixed mode n,b,g the xbox connects fine to the router.
As soon as I switch the router to n only mode the xbox cant connect to the wireless network.
My laptop which is also wireless n connects fine on wireless n.
It sees the network but cant connect to it.
btw. I have switched all security off on the wireless to try and test this.
Can someone please help me with this?
Thanks
Louritz

Make sure you're using WPA mode and not WEP. That seems to be a common culprit...

I turned of all security and same problem. Even when I switch to WPA same issue.
-
Are you using WPA - AES? TKIP doesn't work with n.
-
Turned off all security and tried with just WPA2-Personal & AES still same issue

Did you use the CD that came with the xbox N adaptor? Mine did and used it. I've heard of one other person having this issue. Turn out it was the xbox adaptor itself was faulty. Might try a different adaptor. If other devices can connect on N and the xbox adaptor can't, it could be the root cause.

Hmmmm it came with a cd but nothing happened when I put it in. It does not "boot" from it and when at the dashboard it shows up as mixed media.

Ok, then it worked then. It's not supposed to do anything and if I remember, if it posts a message it didn't work, however it you didn't see anything, it worked. I would check out a different adapter to test if you can.
