Title: DFL 260 setup confirmation
Post by: ybk on February 11, 2011, 08:18:36 AM
Hi guys,

Just like to confirm whether I'm on the right track in setting this thing up. Network is as follows:

--->[internet]---[adsl router]----[DFL]----[server]

I'm forwarding everything in the ADSL router to the internal lan ip of the DFL.
I'm assigning the DFL's wan_ip the static public ip of the adsl router
I'm setting up NAT (under ip rules) for the internal clients

Would this result in a working environment?  ??? (have to get it setup before putting it in a live environment). Do I need a default route as well?

Also, I'm struggling to use the interface to change the internal ip in the address list. Do I have to use the command line for that?

for changing the internal lan ip just have 2 ip range on your nic (default ip of router range and final ip range of dfl)modify and apply.
Please rise the connection timeout to 45s.

The info you gave should work .
