Do ANY newer DLINK routers work with VOIP adapters/programs? I have a DI-624 that works fine.
I upgraded to a DIR-625 and it blocks my VOIP connections (try Whistle Phone w/soft-phone or ATA). I then upgraded to a DIR-615. Same problem! Spent hours on the phone with tech support. No answers from them.

Been noticing some people recently have been seeing issues with SIP and VoIP phone system as of late. Some of the routers were seeing don't have the ability or the feature in the web page for SIP under application layer gateway options has been removed in some routers. Some other routers still have this feature. Been some talk of this in the 655 forum. Can do a search in that forum to see if this might help you. You might need to find a different router that has SIP available for use if you can't get your 625 working. By calling tech support, did you mean you called DLink?
What HW version is your 625?

DIR-615 has SIP

So does the DIR-625.

So its not a compatibility issue. What ports does your VOIP use? Is it hardware or software based? If the former, what hardware, if the later, what software?

DIR-615 = E3
DIR-625 = C1
Tech support was with DLink. ALG settings didn't help. When I connect to DI-624 as well as "other" brand router everything works fine.
