Title: No audio from MPEG files stored on NAS
Post by: NAS newbie on February 20, 2011, 12:55:33 PM
Here's an interesting problem that may have an easy answer, but has me stumped. I've got movie MPEGs and TV show recordings via Windows Media center (mkv ?) files on the DNS323. I can play them AND hear them on a hardwired Vista PC, but can only see them (no audio) on a wirelss XP laptop. Any ideas what the problem might be?
If it makes a difference the TV shows and MPEGs were recorded/created on the hardwired Vista PC.

You can use gspot ( (http://www.headbands.com/gspot/)) to find out all the info about that media file. With that info, it might be easier to get some answers.
