I have a Dlink DES1228. I am using IE8 and get a blank screen with a "<" after logging into the web UI. I am assuming that the browser isn't supported. I tried using the Smart Console Utility to upgrade the firm ware. When attempting I am getting an error that says "Illegal Firmware". I have 1.10.12 and downloaded 1.11.01 from the Dlink site. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to access the Switch?
