Title: FW 1.06 Europe

I am from Europe ( Italy ) and I am still waiting for FW 1.06 to be released on my D-Link Contry support site, since only 1.05 FW is there.

I would like to update to 1.06 can I use USA version or do I have to wait for 1.06 to be released in my country ? ( BTW : why it takes so long to release 1.06 in Italy support site ... well actually in whole europe since I checked UK site too )

Um, just pretend you're an American and it seems to work ok. Don't try that at the airport of course.

well that means there are no real hw difference between an European and a USA unit ... just wandering why they do not copy the fw all over the different support sites when available.

Just wondering why the admin removed my post....

I gave the link supplied by D-Link europe to download the firmware 1.06 applicable for Europe.
As far as I know the US version is not applicable to Europe's devices (warranty issue)

on which support site can I find the european FW 1.06 version ? On my country site ( Italy ) they still provide link for 1.05 version.
