A few months ago I got a good deal on 2 – 1TB WD drives and later bought a DNS-321 on sale only to find out that they don’t play well together. Also they wouldn’t TLER. Yes, I didn’t do research before buying them. (dagnabbit) If you folks would post the working drives in your 321 I’m sure it would help out other people in my situation. Thanks in advance for any info. Z

I am using 2x Western Digital WD10EADS (had in RAID1, now in RAID0 config) and also 2x WD20EADS (in RAID1 config). My brother has 2x Samsung F4 2TB drives in RAID1 config and they have been working fine.

Thank you kimgkimg. I guess this request has been posted earlier, but I didn't see it. Would someone please steer me there? Hard to believe I've only gotten 2 responses. Z

Two WD1001FALS-00J7 (2 x 1TB) in RAID 1. I did have to use a utility from WD to turn off a certain error checking feature to use these in a RAID without a big speed hit... I can't remember the details but the info was all over the place at the time and the utility is a free download.
