I am looking in my logs and it seems MSNMSGR is constantly renewing via UPnP. Any idea what is going on?

Thats normal, its just the Windows Live Messenger telling the router that it is active and wants to use a port for communication. When it is no longer active it tells the router to free up the port for something else to use.
