Title: NAS Drive Mapping Problems
Post by: bawa on January 15, 2009, 04:58:56 PM
I am trying to get a 321 working with 2 1.5TB seagate drives in RAID 1 mode.  I have upgraded the 321 firmware to 1.01.  After doing everything, I can only map the network drive on 1 computer.  When I attempt to map the network drive on another computer, I consistently get "Failed to map drive" error.  I have tried several permutations of users/volumes and I am still getting the same problem

Disable the windows firewall and see what effect that has.

Disable your anti-virus software and you will probably connect successfully.

I suspect that this will have something to do with that specific computer.  Since then, I have successfully connected with another PC, and another linux based machine.

Thanks for the responses.
