Title: ftp user permissions read X, read/write Y?
Post by: digitalys on March 06, 2011, 07:19:05 PM
as the subject hints, i am looking for a way to assign read access to ftpuser for one dir, say, directory x, then give ftpuser read/write access to a personal folder, directory y in which they'll be uploading files.

Even with 1.10 beta it's not possible with the internal server because the access rights are user based, only one access right per user :( .

So you have to look for an alternate FTP server (set up via FunPlug) which supports this feature.
