Title: File Transfer Speed Problems
Post by: jasonbs on March 08, 2011, 12:11:47 PM
I posted this in the DAP-2553 section as well...

I have:
(1) DIR-855
(2) DAP-2553's
(1) DWA-556
(1) DWA-552

The DIR-855 is serving as a mixed signal "N+G" router from the modem that connects to 1 DAP-2553 thru cat6 cable set up in WDS with AP mode on "N" only mode wirelessly connecting to another DAP-2553.

Everything works perfect EXCEPT for wireless file transfer speed between the 2 PC's.  I'm only receiving ~1.3MB/s.

Both PC's running Vista x64. 1 PC connects to 1 DAP-2553 and the other PC connects to the other DAP-2553 so both are connected in "N" only mode. Channel is 11 and WPA2 with AES security is enabled.

After 3 days of extensive searching on Google, I have yet to find a solution.  Any ideas on how to increase the transfer speeds???  Is there something I'm missing or something I'm doing wrong?  Thanks.
