Title: FTP max user

whatever i change max.user amount in FTP settings page - it still allows only one user per login.

whenever I login or telnet to FTP it says: "you are user number 1 of 1 allowed."

Are there any extra measures to change max FTP users?

Have you tried a "reset to factory defaults" and then reconfigured manually? It should work fine.

Are you sure the setting modification is applied?
The correct procedure should be:
a) stop the ftp server
b) make configuration changes
c) start the ftp server
