Title: Another Setup Question
Post by: garyc on March 10, 2011, 11:07:59 AM
I am trying to do the initial setup on a DAP-1360 via an ethernet cable to the PC. The supplied IP address does not connect to the device.

The advice on this forum is to run the wizard off the disc for the initial setup. Unfortunately the disc that came with the product only includes the manuals and no software. The D-Link site does not appear to offer this software as a download.

Is there a way to resolve this problem?

just make sure that you belong with in the same IP range.

default DAP-1360 IP is 192.168.0.50

username : admin
password : <blank>

change your PC IP address to 192.168.0.xxx (e.g. 192.168.0.2)

from there you may choose wizard or manual configuration.

you may change your DAP-1360 IP add according to your network settings in the office and you must change you PC IP address with in the same range.
