I got my dns-323 back after a friend had it for some time, and when i connect it to my gigabit router (linksys wrvs4400n) it wont set linkspeed gigabit...only 100 mb..I did reflash fw 1.08...no difference...tried a set of different cables...but no..!!?? When i connect it directly to a computer with gig nic...it only connects with 100 mb...Is there anyone else who had this problem..??
In the gui where i can set the link speed on the dns-323, the choice 1000 is not available..."not clickable"...

Sorry for my English...

Did you verify that the LAN cable you are using is Cat5e?

Is the option not there or is it "not clickable".
Based on my experience the DNS-323 will not let you "force" a gigabit setting, and for a very good reason - if you force the setting to gigabit on a connection that, for whatever reason does not gigabit, your only way back would be a reset to factory defaults.
You'll need to check all the other possibilities first.

Thanks for the answers......Yes, i have tried Cat5e and Cat6 cables...And the option 1000 is there but not "clickable"..I have done the factory reset a number of times, with no different result. When i connect the dns-323 directly to my gig router it dosenīt even get link...I guess there is a hardware problem on my dns-323...Is there anyone else who had the same problem...Hardware related...??
