Title: Support adviced me to upgrade my firmware
Post by: Scuttle on January 16, 2009, 05:09:21 PM
Hi,

I emailed the support regarding my intermittent disconnection of my DIR 615 router. They advised me to upgrade my firmware and they are giving the firmware of 625. I replied to them asking for a confirmation why 625 if I have 615, but every tech support did not answer my question instead, they are giving the procedure on how to upgrade my firmware.

I would like to ask, is this possble? Using firmware for DIR625 to DIR615?

No it's not possible. If your device is 615 then you need to download the update for 615.

Do you have the email with the instructions to upgrade the router with 625 firmware?
