My old router died and after researching, thought I'd buy this router...DIR655. Made all the connections, but I could not configure the router, no matter how I tried. Tried online help, but no go. I called the number listed for Tech Support and couldn't understand the company name by the person who answered.
I asked if it was D-Link Tech Support and he assured me it was. Well then the run around began: He told me I was the 100th caller and would receive $600 worth of merchandise all for free except for a $11.95 processing fee. I told him I was not interested, just wanted help with my router installation. He said he would take care of that as soon as I told him why I wasn't interested in the "free" thing. This went on for about 5 mins....I kept telling him I wasn't interested, he kept asking me why...I finally hung up. Didn't get my problem solved and the D-Link is now on it's way back to Amazon. And of course, I will never buy another DLink product.

If you explain what your trying to do with your router here in detail, maybe we can help you here?
What FW is loaded?
What HW version is it?
How is it connected?
What ISP service do you have? DSL or Cable?
ISP Modem stand alone or built in router?
Wireless modes your using?
Connected devices? Wired and Wireless?
Things like this...

And from where are you calling? Is better to get the number from your local d-link website.
