I know, our 4500's rule, no question. ;D
But as a hypothetical question, if you had to pick another gaming router, which would it be?
I don't think I've seen another dedicated gaming one like I've seen with this one, so I think I would pick a Linksys E4200 since it's a multimedia one and about the same price as our beloved 4500.

Ooooo, I like that one! What is it? :P
OK, let me rephrase the question. In case this beloved router were no longer available. ;D

It's ALL hypothetical! ;D
As a backup, I have a Linksys E2000. I got it refurbed for $38 shipped and couldn't pass it up. BUT, if my 4500 ever goes down and I can't replace it, I'd probably go with the 855 or whatever new gaming one D-Link came up with to replace the 4500....or that E4200 because I've had good luck with the E2000. ;D

I've been eying the 855 and the DSR-500N. Thank god I have a spare 4500 though. ;D

I found the WNDR3700 v2 on sale at my local Staples for $129.00. So far so good and no problems with running two xbox live sessions at the same time.
Like the traffic meter and ability to create a guest network.

The WZR-HP-AG300H looks pretty cool. But I hear the firmware is watered down dd-wrt. So I would probably say the Asus RT-N16 with the full dd-wrt suite.

Actually found that my 3700 runs better with WRT loaded. I had it one for a while then went back to .75NA and wow, seems slower. Not as snappy as the WRT when it was loaded. I'm loaning it to a buddy of mine who I bought a SB 6120 yesterday for. Should take care of his cable Internet issues for the most part.
