Title: DCS 2120 - port fowarding - PLEASE HELP ITS A SCHOOL PROJECT!! :(
Post by: Doodly on March 16, 2011, 06:48:52 AM
Hello my networking friends,

I've been trying to configure a DCS 2120 camera for streaming on a phone.

I've managed to view the camera through my web browser on my laptop wireless-ly, but i am unable to view any video input through a phone (but i am still able to take screenshots through the phone ).

Has it got something to do with fowarding RTSP ports?
In the camera settings, I tried fowarding port 445 for RTSP, but they prompt me with "Port is already in used" and suggest me to use port 1025 instead, but the same thing happens once i changed it to port 1025

Thanks for helping in advance.

Have you tried using the free "cam-viewer.com" website?
