Title: DIR-625 Airplay problem = Lockup!

Airplay problem:

- Router intermittently lockup after Airplay initiated
   - Typically plays 1-2 minutes of audio before router locks up and has to be powered-off/on.

- Components
    (Ipod Touch 4 or Ipad1) -wireless->  Apple TV 2

    Dlink DIR-625
      Settings
        Disabled:
          UPNP via Advanced / Advanced Network
          QOS via  Advanced  / QOS engine

  Any suggestion or troubleshooting recommendations would be appreciated. Since problem locks up
  the DIR-625, no log is available :-(

Had exact same issue and finally decided to one by one disable items. I found disabling WMM did the trick. I have QOS and UPNP off too. So far 20 minutes of Pandora from my iPad in two different rooms, volume control doesn't crash it like before and still pushing near 20mbps on Speedtest app.  Hopefully this solves your issue too.

Next is to try the iPhone and see if it works the same way.

iPhone still jams up the router. It's not as sudden but it does eventually and the volume control is very slow to respond while the iPad volume is instantaneous. I tried turning off short gi no luck. At least maybe your iPad will work now. Will try more later for the iPhone but not essential with having the iPad here.
