Title: pause don't work on streaming by server
Post by: giannirusso on January 17, 2009, 10:25:57 AM
Hello, I'm using DSM-510 with tversity media server. When I'm playing videos from streaming (i.e. youtube) neither pause or rewind works.
Is this normal or a problem of my configuration?
Thanks
Gianni

As far as I know, this the way it works. YouTube and such provide MPEG4 AVC, so it needs to be transcoded, and there is no trickplay on the temp files created by transcoding.
