Post by: rortin on March 21, 2011, 10:12:55 AM
Hi, i have a firewall dfl1600.

I want to create an access for one pc using ultravnc at port 5801.
I canīt do it.

I created the object with the server computer, then created the service with the port 5801, I finally I go to ip rules and add a type nat.

But i canīt access.

My configuration itīs this:

IP server in lan3 with vnc: 10.12.54.55
IP lan3: 10.12.54.0
IP wan1: 192.168.1.253
IP gw: 192.168.1.254

Thanks a lot for your help.

to allow an inbound trafic you need to create two IP rule.
A sat rule to bind external IP, service, and internal IP
then a nat or allow rule to pass trafic through the firewal.

That is the first point.

Second, as you are behind a router; you need to redirect the same port on the router to the wan IP of the DFL. Other option would be to redirect all incoming trafic throug the router to the wan IP of the DFL then  to create the two above rules.

The best solution would have been to configure lan3 and wan1 in transparent mode.
